International Week

Myers Park High School hosted an International Week November 15-19, 2004. Each day, students obtained a Passport and visited the countries "booths" set up under Harris Teeter tents. After visiting all booths, they returned to the Passport Office to receive a prize: globe pop, key chain, fortune cookie, food coupon, etc. There was also a week-long project where students painted on a huge canvas map of the world. In addition, art pieces with an international theme were displayed. Culinary Arts students provided a food "booth" tent each day with a food native to one of the countries for that day.
